im doing the color green at our church rainbow tea i need some ideas for food?

You need green food? is it desserty type stuff? If savory is allowed, honey, you got all the vegetables. Healthy too! Just like church food should be:

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your BODIES as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship” (Romans 12:1)

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple” (1Cor 3:16-17)

If you want dessert, try something with lime, honeydew, pistachios or mint.

You can also do grasshopper pie.

There is an easy thing with Oreo’s. You can use the mint ones.

First crush up a bag of Oreo’s into small pieces. In your case it would be helpful if they are chunky enough to see the green instead of a mushed up mess.

Then using 8oz blocks of cream cheese, cut each into 15 cubes (3×5) and roll those cubes into balls. Work quickly to keep it cold, and repeat for about 6 blocks of cream cheese.

You see where this is going….roll the cream cheese in the Oreo crumbs. Store in an airtight container.

All that Bible passage about healthy food and I give you a recipe for Oreos. Oh well…here is another verse:

“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:4,5

Maybe that means if you eat healthy most of the time, you can have an Oreo every once in a while. Have fun.
