An Eternal love story Laila Majnu!

A couple of months ago filmmakers Imtiaz Ali and Ekta Kapoor bankrolled a new project for the very first time. 

The first poster of the film was also unveiled.

The makers are back with a teaser which is nothing less than a visual treat depicting the story of the epic love saga.

The teaser opens with the scenic beauty of Kashmir valley, with empowering background score. Nothing much is being revealed about the central characters, which adds more mystery to it. Interestingly, the teaser lives up to the expectations, keeping the curiosity element very much alive.

Laila Majnu is helmed by Sajid Ali and is set to hit the screens on August 24

Sharing the first teaser poster of the romantic drama, Ekta had earlier written, “It’s here the first look teaser recreated. Re-imagined. Retold. Proud to collaborate with @imtiazaliofficial to present a classic love story with a contemporary twist. Here’s the teaser poster of Laila Majnu.”

Talking about the film, Imtiaz Ali said, “Laila Majnu is an eternal story of everlasting love. It’s perhaps the most popular love story of all times. For the film, we wanted a fresh approach in all aspects – a fresh cast, a fresh script and a fresh setting. We had a great experience making the film and can’t wait to showcase it to the world.
