Although it will take three months to rebuild his house together, Todd still feels lucky that he has insurance. Snyder also recounted about his recent induction into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. Recruited to “that nerd squad” December and the Dandy Warhols.

“I am a Hall of Fame man. He said it all,” Todd said. “I set the record in my high school, and I got suspended eight times. They said I’d never get to shit, and they were pretty close right.”

As the session drew to a close, Snyder ended the nearly 90-minute broadcast paying homage to the man who first inspired him to be a popular creator, Jerry Jeff Walker, with “Good News Blues.”

“It’s a Billy Joe Schaefer song to start your new year,” Todd said in closing. “Go out there and do something fun. We’ll see you on the road in a few days. Seacrest is out.”
