Knoxville Public Library hosts Stem event on Valentine’s Day | KNIA KRLS Radio – Trusted Radio

On Valentine’s Day, the Knoxville Public Library will host special guest Angela Hiatt from PBS Iowa to help host the Ramps & Pathways Stem program for kindergarten and sixth graders. Youth Services Librarian Holly Shelford told KNIA/KRLS News that the event will benefit participating youth.

“Stem activities are just something they promote heavily in schools, of course, but it’s a fun way to learn a new skill, and when you can do a hands-on program instead of sitting in a chair and having to listen to or read it. So , children can do a lot during this time.”

Ramps & Pathways Stem event scheduled for February 14th from 10:30am-11:30am
