U.S. Rep. Vicente Gonzalez’s office is again collecting letters for his veterinarian’s annual Valentine’s Day plan, now in its third year.

The program encourages voters to express their gratitude and appreciation to local veterans by writing Valentine’s Day cards to local veterans.

Like last year, the congressman’s office is also encouraging residents to submit Valentine’s Day cards for frontline workers who are experiencing another wave of the pandemic.

“Our community is grateful to our brave veterans and frontline workers for their service to our country,” D-McAllen’s Gonzalez wrote in the release. “This Valentine’s Day, I encourage the people of Texas’ 15th District to express our gratitude to our veterans and frontline workers for all they do for our country and our community.”

Voters of all ages are encouraged to participate. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, February 9.

Residents can mail cards at Congressman McCarran’s office at 1305 W. Hackberry Ave. in McAllen, or mail them to the same location.

Voters with questions can contact Patrick Roberts by [email protected] Or call (956) 682-5545.
