Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and local restaurants and businesses are eager to invite people to special dinners and events.

Here are some of the Valentine’s Day events happening in Woodland and Yolo County:

Morgan mainline

Morgan’s On Main, located at 614 Main St. in Woodland, will be celebrating Valentine’s Day throughout the weekend on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12.

The main course was carved tomahawk ribs with prawn prawns and mashed cocannon, garlic fried asparagus, sriracha brussels sprouts and sweet potato mashed with honey, side dishes. Dessert will be lava cake.

Z specialty food

Z Specialty Food will be celebrating Valentine’s Day at The HIVE on Saturday, February 12th from 11am to 5pm.

From 1-4pm, Boot Juice (a sextet of modern American and retro country bands) will perform live, offering mango habanero pork tacos, strawberry dip plates and new mead during the event.

“Bring your loved one, family or friends and relax on our outdoor patio,” says the company’s website. “Cozy up by the campfire, play some cornholes and giant jerk, listen to live music from Boot Juice, and use this time to unwind in our community spaces.”

Puta Creek Cafe

Located at 1 E Main St. in Winters, Putah Creek Cafe is celebrating with a Valentine’s Day menu in addition to its regular menu from Friday, February 11 to Monday, February 14.

“We’ll be offering four-course dinners for $60 per person throughout the weekend,” its Facebook post said. “All tables are first come first served, we are open for dinner every day at 4:40pm”

The first course of the special dinner will be oysters on the half shell or wild mushroom bruschetta, followed by a creme brulee or doughnut dessert.

Salty Cafe

Savory Cafe, located at 722 Main St. in Woodland, will be serving seasonal dishes on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12 from 5pm-9pm.

Embellish Decor & Gifts will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Bath Bomb Workshop at 540 Main St. in Woodland, including Capay Valley Lavender, on Thursday, February 10 from 6-7:30 pm.

“Bathe your lover with luxurious roses and lavender,” reads the store’s Facebook post. “Make your own gift set of four sweet bath bombs.”

Main Street Lounge

The Main Street Lounge will be hosting a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday, February 12th from 5pm-7pm and 7:30pm-9:30pm at 524 Main St. #101 in Woodland.

Dinner costs $150 per couple and includes welcome sparkling wine; bread and butter service; a four-course dinner of deli for two, citrus beet spring salad, rib eye steak and prawns with potatoes and vegetables Tiramisu and two drinks. Taxes and gratuities are not included in the price.

Four Seasons Kitchen and Bar

Valentine’s Day Dinner at Seasons Kitchen and Bar will be held at 102 Davis Street on Monday, February 14th from 5pm to 9pm.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza

Mountain Mike’s Pizza is making heart-shaped pizzas at each of its nearly 250 locations throughout February.

“February is here and for all your Valentine’s and love-themed stories, Mountain Mike’s Pizza has you covered,” a press release from the pizza chain said. “What used to be called a public show of affection has now become a pizza show of affection, with Mountain Mike’s Pizza fans flocking to social media to express their love for the brand.”

Throughout the month, the California-based pizza chain offered gift cards to customers who posted photos of themselves enjoying pizza on social media.

“All month is going to be a feast of love, and we encourage guests to have fun and enjoy their favorite Mountain Mike’s heart pizza in exchange for a change,” said Carol DeNembo, VP of Marketing at Mountain Mike’s. “Use the entire month Come surprise and delight the people you care about most and add extra joy to their lives.”
