1. Ree Drummond’s Dark Chocolate Cherry Loaf Cake

Drummond says it’s a “special” dessert that requires little effort. She uses superhero shortcuts to make her dark chocolate cherry loaf cake. Instead of making the cake from scratch, she uses a boxed cake mix. For an “additional” ingredient to the brownies, Drummond added dark chocolate chips. For the frosting, she uses a pink frosting made of powdered sugar, milk, candied cherries, and red food coloring. For Valentine’s Day, Drummond put a “fancy spin” on her usual salad. She said she usually makes roasted tomatoes and Caesar salad. For this recipe, she not only roasted tomatoes, but also lemons and lettuce.

Drummond started with a head of romaine lettuce. She brushes the cut side of the lettuce with olive oil and sprinkles salt and pepper on top. She does the same with tomatoes and lemons.

Next, Drummond placed the lettuce, tomatoes, and lemon cut-side down. Afterwards, she makes Caesar dressing for the salad. Drummond starts by placing the anchovies in a food processor. She added minced garlic, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard.
