When is Mother’s Day?

The date of Mothers Day varies a
lot from country to country. In the United States and many more
countries and states it is celebrated on the second Sunday of May.

This was established by Anna Javis in 1908, and in 1914 is was made
an official holiday.

So, if you live in USA, New Zealand, Denmark and many, many other
countries, in this year 2021 Mother’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday the
9th of May.

In UK and the Republic of Ireland it will be celebrated on the
Fourth Sunday of Lent, which in 2021 will be March 14.

In most Arab countries, Mother’s Day is always celebrated on the 21
of March, which is the Spring equinox.
