Rebecca is considered the Duchess’ right-hand man. Her responsibilities include organising official programmes and events and making sure to brief Kate on the people she meets. She has also traveled the world with the Cambridges, travelling with them to Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Before joining William and Kate’s team, Rebecca worked at Sentebale, Prince Harry’s charity.

Around the same time she announced her resignation in the spring of 2017, Rebecca tied the knot with Adam in the Chapel Royal at St James’ Palace, an exclusive venue only accessible to those with direct links to the royal family. The bride wore a beautiful cape-style wedding dress with her hair pulled back into an elegant bun.

A few months after her resignation, Rebecca returned to the Palace in October 2017 to be awarded the Royal Victorian Medal at Buckingham Palace. The honour Prince William bestows on her is for those who have personally served Her Majesty or the monarch.

After leaving the royal family, she set up her own company. A listing filed by Companies House in 2017 showed that Rebecca had registered his own private company, RAP Consulting and Communications. The nature of the business is a “public relations and communications activity” with offices in Fitzrovia, central London. Rebecca is listed as a director and a “person with substantial control,” meaning she holds 75% or more of the company’s shares and voting rights. She also has the power to appoint or remove a majority of the company’s board, while her husband Adam is listed as a director of the company.
