Fulton County to celebrate Valentine’s Day with free weddings

💕

Thanks to the Fulton County judges, this will be about Valentine’s Day love. Chief Probate Judge Kenya Johnson will hold a free wedding with Chief Magistrate Cassandra Kirk on Monday 14 February 2022. The ceremony will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Fulton County Government Atrium at 141 Pryor Street in downtown Atlanta.

“We all know Valentine’s Day is a special day for couples,” Judge Johnson said. “At the beginning of the pandemic, the probate court suspended this popular event, but now, we are delighted to offer a social distancing ceremony for a small number of couples on this special love day. Through our work with the magistrates’ judges , citizens will have many opportunities to say I do.”

“We are eager to join the probate court to expand options for our community,” Judge Kirk said. “During COVID, we limited our wedding services to Thursdays, but two years later, we can’t miss the day.”

Couples must schedule time to walk down the aisle through court administration. Participants must bring a Probate Court marriage certificate and a valid photo ID.
