The ‘beautiful’ woman who was stabbed to death in her home on Valentine’s Day has been named.

Naomi Hunte, 41, was stabbed to death in her apartment in Congleton Grove, Greenwich, on Monday night.

Metropolitan Police are believed to have broken doors into the property around 8.25pm ​​after neighbours reported hearing a woman scream.

An autopsy was carried out at Greenwich mortuary on Wednesday and the cause of death was a single stabbing wound.

A police cordon remains outside the home in Congleton Grove in Plumstead while homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police investigate.

A police spokesman confirmed that Ms Hunt’s next of kin had been notified.
