Empire State Building will light up Tiffany Blue on Valentine’s Day

💕

For the first time ever, the Empire State Building won’t glow red on Valentine’s Day. As part of a collaboration with the iconic jewelry brand, the famous skyscraper will be issued Tiffany Blue in honor of tonight’s Day of Love.

A surprise celebrity guest will also visit the destination before sunset, officially turning the switch on.

As part of a partnership with Tiffany & Co., the observation deck on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building has also been transformed into a floral paradise. The Hometown Flower Co. store on Long Island has set up a pop-up shop inside the store to sell flowers from on-site trucks. The outdoor area is decorated with pink flower arrangements and sparkling gold hearts: it’s a great photo opportunity we wouldn’t mind seeing all year round.

In a few days, on February 18th, the Empire State Building will light up in red, yellow and blue to celebrate the return of Sesame Street Live! At the Hulu Theater, in a few days, the colors will be red, white and blue in honor of Presidents Day. You can view the full schedule of hue-related events here.

A New York landmark in its own right, the Empire State Building has also become an unofficial symbol of festivals, events, and causes, as New Yorkers of all kinds have been using its color-changing abilities to inform the city of special occasions and more.
