Chamber of Commerce Column: Think Local – Valentine’s Day – The Stanly News & Press

💕

The Stanley County Chamber of Commerce shares “local shopping season” during the holidays in our columns, social media and our newsletter. The Shop Local Season sale is a reminder to keep shopping local after Small Business Saturday in November.

We hope you do this and have bought many, if not all, of your holiday supplies locally this year. We encourage you to continue shopping locally as a Stanley County Chamber of Commerce member. Consider the locals and support your neighbors on Valentine’s Day.

We encourage you to visit the Stanley County Chamber of Commerce’s website, stanlychamber.org, under Membership, you can search our Membership Directory. We know you can find all the great traditional Valentine’s items such as jewelry, candy, balloons and great restaurants for you to dine. We also encourage you to get creative and look around our members to see what other businesses you can support this Valentine’s Day.

Continue to support your neighbors as you plan to file your taxes this year. We have some great accountants who can help you with your taxes and more, we have members who specialize in tax preparation and others who can help you with your financial planning. A list of these professionals is included in our member directory, which can be searched online. Our members are also included in our print membership directory, which can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office, the Stanley Press and Press Office, and our members through the county.

These are just a few ideas on how to support members of the Stanley County Chamber of Commerce. We have member companies in every area of business, nonprofits, education, and more. Consider checking out our memberships before making a purchase decision this year.

Follow the Stanley County Chamber of Commerce on our social media sites for the latest updates from the Chamber and Chamber members. Visit our website regularly to learn about events happening in the county.
