According to NASA’s Asteroid Tracker, this Valentine’s Day, three asteroids will make a “close approach” to Earth, including one nearly as large as the iconic Arc de Triomphe. It is expected to be 154 feet wide.

The largest comet, named 2022 CF3, will pass Earth in the early hours of February 14.

The largest asteroid of the trio will pass Earth at a distance of 1.5 million miles. It’s reportedly going just under 9,000 miles per hour.

None of these asteroids are called Big Rocks. Furthermore, none of these are expected to collide with Earth.

The other two rocks were named 2020 DF and 2022 CF1.

Asteroid 2020 DF is believed to be 933,000 miles from Earth.

In early January, a kilometer-sized asteroid flew past Earth.

Estimates from NASA’s Asteroid Tracker confirm NASA’s previous prediction that Earth will be free from asteroid impacts within the next 100 years.

However, if the planet is not so lucky, the consequences could be catastrophic.
