With New Year’s Eve here today, the world can look forward to bidding farewell to 2021 – another year marked by a pandemic.
Seeing an end of a year like 2021 may be cause for celebration, but the increase in cases of the Omicron variant means that New Year’s celebrations are unlikely to return to its pre-pandemic scale.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself at home with some food, drinks and dessert.
If you need to go outside before New Year’s, that’s when Asda stores open…
What are Asda opening hours on New Years Eve?
On New Year’s Eve, most Asda stores will open from 7 am and close at 7 pm.
Since opening times vary from store to store, it is a good idea to double-check with the online store locator.

What time does Asda open on New Years Day?
Asda will open later on New Year’s Day, with most stores open from 10am to 10pm.
Sunday normal business hours will be in place on January 2, with most stores open from 11am.
Again, opening times vary from store to store, so check the online store locator before heading out on your shopping trip.
