Don’t worry, because the festivities aren’t over yet. Confused? Well, just after Valentine’s Day, people are getting ready to celebrate Anti-Valentine’s Day. Yes, you read that right. So, if you feel like you’ve had too many Valentines and want to detox, Anti-Valentines might be a fun way to do the same.

The anti-Valentine’s Day celebrations began after Valentine’s Day on February 14, and it had nothing to do with love and romance. It starts with Slap Day on February 15th and ends with Break-Up Day on February 21st. During this time, people celebrate Kick Day, Perfume Day, Flirt Day, Confession Day and Missing Day. Slap Day – February 15

The first day of Anti-Valentine’s Week is Slap Day, which begins the day after Valentine’s Day on February 15. This day is for those who want to slap in the face. However, we’re not saying you should literally hit them. Instead, it’s a great opportunity to remove feelings for these people and move on in life.

Kicking Day – 16 February

Slap Day is followed by Kick Day, the second day of Anti-Valentine’s Day. It falls on February 16th. This is the perfect time to get rid of all the negativity and bad emotions in your life that your ex has left behind. Also, if you accumulate gifts from them that were meaningful to you but are now causing you pain, kick them away too.

Fragrance Day – February 17

Fragrance Day is the third day of Anti-Valentine’s Day. It falls on February 17th. Fragrance day is all about being kind to yourself and feeling good while doing the same. So go all out, buy the fragrance you’ve been eyeing for a long time, and treat your body with a delightful scent.

Flirt Day, the fourth day of Anti-Valentine’s Week, is this year on Friday 18th February. If you’ve wanted to ask someone out, or have been waiting to use this answering phone for someone you like, now is your time. Ask that person, meet new people, try new life experiences.

Day of Repentance – February 19

The third-to-last day of Anti-Valentine’s Week is known as the Day of Repentance. This year is Saturday 19th February. This is your perfect opportunity to open up to someone and tell them how you feel. You can even admit to past mistakes that you didn’t tell anyone before.

Missing Day – February 20

The missing day is Sunday 20th February this year. It’s the penultimate day of Anti-Valentine’s Day. It’s always a good time to let your favorite people know that you miss them and express your true feelings. It could be a friend, family member or crush. Breakup Day – February 21
